Self-expression

Far from me is the idea of affecting the faith of others, but the duty of truth calls for all to express themselves, and in doing so, not to say empty words in order to disseminate their knowledge and beliefs but to encourage enhancement of reflection and, therefore, the awakening of consciousness.

It is always necessary to remove any ambiguity in order to have a clear and limpid view of the facts. We do not argue with someone who sees a red object and then decides this object is green; at traffic lights, this character will cause accidents due to his color blindness. You might not agree on something, but intellectual honesty is all about acknowledging the facts because they don't lie, which is why history is there to serve as a benchmark. As we say so well, "the facts are stubborn," and when we bring the facts to thought, it follows the revelation of what is true. For centuries, wonderful human beings have been engaged in the search for the truth to enlighten mankind on how to become better. Their works and writings are available to those who yearn for knowledge and the search for truth; therefore, nowadays, with all the search engines and the Internet, "ignorance is a choice."

"You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." This is how one maintains oneself in slavery, refusing to be enlightened by the truth. If you are an enemy of the truth, in other words, you love lies, and we all know who the "Father of Lies" is. Every being aspires to its essence, that is to say, light; the truth illuminates and enlightens, and that is why we love it; we are free men who have the ability to think for ourselves, hence to express ourselves with confidence and love. Self-expression is a duty of truth to oneself. A tree cannot refuse to bear fruit because some people do not like the tree. You don't really like mangoes, so should the mango tree stop producing? What about those who like mangoes?

If you refuse to speak because of the contrary opinions of others, then you refuse to propagate your truth; you live in denial of yourself. The means of expression by which a human being can hear you, are to speak, to read your thoughts is to write, and to communicate, is through feelings. This is why in developed societies, freedom of expression is essential, which has enabled great civilizations to reach their peaks.
