Intra-Africa trade, the road to power.

It is said that the prosperity of the Jews comes from trading amongst themselves; before money leaves their community, it goes around within their community four times. When a Jew wants to buy something, his first reflex is to buy from a Jew before looking somewhere else. This fact is proven with Jews being the most powerful community in the world.
This example is to emphasise how trading within a community makes this community powerful, resulting in creating wealth for and within the community. As money is power, as long as you need others' assistance to provide for your needs, you are under their rules. This is why when you believe that God is the one providing for your needs, you put yourself under his rules, which rules are detailed in holy scriptures, depending on which religion you are practicing. Anyway, you can observe the reverence and devotion to your employer as the one providing for your salary, from which you can pay for your needs.

Intra-trade within a community is the way for this community to become powerful and wealthy. Whether it is the race, a territory, or a religion that makes people a community, it is established that intra-trade leads to empowerment of a community, a country, and a continent. The first layer that intra-trade put in place is auto-sufficience for a community—not relying on anyone but your own for your needs; this is power; you are not dependent; you are independent—and obviously being in charge of your own needs leads to self-worth and wealth. The US sanctions didn't affect Russia's economy; this is why Putin is seen as powerful and Russia's economy is doing so well.

On the continental level, intra-European trade stands at 80% (the US, China, and Russia alone can be considered as continents), while intra-African trade stands at 18%, so we don't have to do Havard or MIT to know who is the poor between Europe and Africa, and who is powerful and in charge. We can notice that, unlike the US, China, and Russia, Western Europe doesn't have much natural resources, for which they rely mainly on Africa. So, if Europe relies on Africa for their needs, why is Africa not powerful and wealthy? But, indeed, Africa is powerful and wealthy, given its size, its natural resources, and owning 60% of the arable land in the world, but relying heavily on finished goods from other continents—I'm sure you get it—it doesn't make sense at all that Africa is not powerful and wealthy; the illogical ecosystem of our world can be stunning.

At this stage, the need to rewind my analysis is imperative.
- You trade amongst yourselves, then.
- You become powerful,
- You can colonise other people, so,
- You become wealthy.

When you can provide for your own needs, you become independent; you acquire power, as from your independence you can make decisions for yourself without relying on anyone. Still, they all rely on Africa for their needs, but only for natural resources; Africa's economy is mostly extractive, an exporter of natural resources—no one in Europe eats cocoa nor coltan.

To summarise it, they trade amongst themselves; they become ONE entity, providing for each other's needs.

To enhance their intra-trade, they needed infrastructure, leading them to acquire technology, becoming an industrialised society.

As their society evolved, the needs of energy and natural resources to supply their industrialised world occurred, so they went out to look for supply given that they didn't have enough natural resources.

When they found the suppliers (one of them is Africa), the need to secure the supply chain was crucial, as it is inherent to a business to ensure a continuous supply in order to be sustainable, and keep producing.

This is why "colonization" is pure business. (People at the top leading the world cannot be racist; racism is for the masses they control.).

To end up colonising other peoples, to ensure the supply of natural resources, it first started with trading amongst themselves, which collapses barriers and borders, leading to UNITY.

In 1948, at the Berlin conference, the Western leaders were sitting together to decide on the split of Africa; afterward, they attacked Africa from all corners with a clear agenda: acquisition of land and natural resources.
(They trained hard during World War II, where the US came out as the most powerful nation of the world.)
Europe colonised Africa for the ultimate purpose of ensuring supply for their industry and economy; using colonisation to do so was survival. If we are wondering why they didn't want to pay a fair price for the natural resources they wanted, we have to consider that to be wealthy you must accumulate assets (land, gold/minerals, and money), so,
- Land must be conquered,
- Gold/minerals must be extracted.
- To make more money, you must spend less than you earn to be able to make more profit. Any business that spends less to nothing on raw materials and labour makes great profits.
Therefore, colonisation is a great business!

You cannot empower the one you want to exploit, because when you start earning well, living better, and your lifestyle is getting better, then you start thinking in a certain way, and you will need more space (freedom).

Stalin has demonstrated that one day, when asked, why is he cruel? He took a chicken and plucked most of the chicken's feathers with his hands, leaving it in a pitiful and bloody state. Stalin dropped some grains of rice as he walked around, and the chicken followed him, pecking at them.
Then, Stalin said, "When you treat people badly and create fear in them, then you give them a bit of sustenance; they follow you like this chicken."
Another historical fact. China colonised Japan, Japan colonised China, then China rose again...

We are all nations, and in connection with one another, from within empires rise, reach their peak, and fall, but since 1900, great changes in world leadership have occurred in the West, but their relationship with Africa remains intact, ensuring that Africa remains an extractive economy and supplier of natural resources. But, when Africa will efficiently starts trading amongst itself, breaking barriers and borders, Africa will become one. And remember, when you can provide for your own needs, you become independent. In the case of Africa, it is concerning for the west, as Africa doesn't need natural resources and land from elsewhere.
History has related that the richest man in our contemporary world was Mansa Keita; the world knew about his wealth only when his convoy was carrying an enormous quantity of gold as a gift to his hosts, while travelling for a pilgrimage to Mecca.

Having land, gold/minerals, and resources that the whole world needs, to that extent, becoming ONE entity, is not of the advantage for other nations deprived of natural resources. A continent endowed with such potential that doesn't need anyone is so powerful, which power can be unleashed by trading with one another. No wonder why regional economic and financial institutions in Africa are battling/slowing to foster and develop intra-African trade.
